Reflecting on the Year of Saint Joseph

With the publication of his Apostolic Letter, Patris Corde (‘With a Father’s Heart’), marking the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Saint Joseph as ‘Patron of the Universal Church,’ Pope Francis proclaimed a ‘Year of Saint Joseph,’ to run from December 8, 2020, to December 8, 2021.

Reflecting anew, with the Holy Father, upon the “great saint” who has been the focus of this Year, The Veech Library has sought to showcase several items from the Collection which preserve the memory of, or have some connection to, the “extraordinary figure” of Saint Joseph.* Organised thematically and comprising a variety of resource types, the images below can be ‘clicked through’ for further content and bibliographic information, where available.
