Canon Law and Celebrating Marriage 2021: Module Three
The Catholic Institute of Sydney is offering four modules designed to assist clergy, parish secretaries and others who are interested in the preparation and celebration of marriage. The “Red Book” – Celebrating Marriage in the Archdiocese of Sydney has recently been updated to take into account the significant and rapid social change in Australian society and in the Church as well as recent changes to the 1983 Code of Canon Law.

The Modules will be facilitated by Civil and Canon Lawyers (all priests of NSW dioceses) who will introduce and explain the information and instructions outline in the book.
The input and material provided will also be helpful for those from other dioceses beyond Sydney.
Modules will run from 10am to 3pm. There will be a limited number of places for those who wish to attend in person. It will also be available via Zoom.
